ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s top grappler Inam Butt won bronze medal at World Beach Wrestling Championship (WBWC) in Turkey on late Sunday.
Inam, who competes in the 90kg weight division conceded defeat in the semifinal against Azerbaijan’s Ibrahim Yusubov after a tough battle.
However, he managed to earn bronze medal after overcoming Turkey’s Mahmut Seyfi Ozkaya as he led the fight 2-0. He is scheduled to fly back to the country on Tuesday.
