Independence Day ceremony held at Police Lines


Multan: A ceremony was held at the Traffic Office, Police Lines Multan, to mark the 79th Independence Day of Pakistan. Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Multan Muhammad Nabeel Khokhar attended the ceremony as the chief guest.



DSP Headquarters Qamar Rasheed, DSP Jalalpur Abdul Hameed, all traffic in-charges and a large number of traffic police officers and personnel also participated in the ceremony.



The CTO formally hoisted the national flag, while special prayers were offered for the security, prosperity, progress and stability of Pakistan.



Later, CTO Muhammad Nabeel Khokhar cut the Independence Day cake along with traffic officers and personnel. Certificates of appreciation were also distributed among traffic police officials and personnel in recognition of their outstanding performance and responsible discharge of duties.



Speaking on the occasion, CTO Muhammad Nabeel Khokhar said that Pakistan was a great blessing from Allah Almighty and that every citizen should play their part with dedication, honesty and a strong sense of responsibility for the country’s security, development and prosperity.



He said that traffic police officers and personnel would continue performing their duties with the same spirit and commitment to protect the lives and property of citizens and ensure safer roads across the city.



The ceremony concluded with special prayers for the progress, prosperity, peace and security of Pakistan, as well as the success of the Pakistan Armed Forces and the entire nation.
