BAHAWALPUR:A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Directorate of Students Affairs, Career Counseling and Placement Center, and Inter-University Consortium for Social Sciences at the Islamia University of Bahawalpur.
The MoU was signed by Vice Chancellor, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob and Inter-University Consortium Coordinator General Murtaza Noor.
It was decided on the occasion that both institutions would cooperate and share to make the co-curricular activities especially the societies active. For this purpose, collaboration and cooperation would be done in organizing healthy activities in Bahawalpur and other cities.
The experience of each other would be utilized for internships, job opportunities and practical training for the graduates. On this occasion, the Inter-University Consortium handed over various equipment to the University administration for the use of students for the promotion of co-curricular activities.
On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Asif Naveed Ranjha Chairman of the Department of Social Work, Dr. Azhar Hussain Director of Alumni, Muhammad Shahid Afzal Durrani Director of Career Counseling and Placement Center, Shahzad Ahmed Khalid Director of Press Media and Publications, Senior Journalist Khalid Zamir, and Muhammad Khalid Shaikh were present.
