Kohat: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Law Minister Aftab Alam, alongside Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kohat, chaired a series of meetings to review ongoing and proposed development projects across the district and assess the overall law and order situation.
During a high-level briefing held at the Deputy Commissioner’s office, Law Minister Aftab Alam evaluated the progress of development schemes in Kohat. The meeting was attended by officers from the Communications and Works (CandW) Department, Public Health Engineering Department, Tehsil Municipal Officers (TMOs), and other relevant line departments.
Officials briefed the minister on current progress, fund utilization, operational challenges, and estimated completion timelines for various infrastructure and welfare projects. Addressing the participants, Minister Aftab Alam emphasized that the timely and quality completion of public welfare initiatives remains the provincial government’s top priority.
He directed all concerned departments to accelerate the pace of work without compromising on construction quality. The minister further stressed ensuring transparency, robust monitoring, and effective inter-departmental coordination to maximize benefits for the public.
