PESHAWAR: Durshal, a project of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board (KPITB) here on Tuesday in collaboration with World Bank, Helvetas and Code for Pakistan organized a Graduation Ceremony for the 7th cycle of the Innovation Fellowship Program and the first batch of KP Women Civic Internship Program.
Speaking at the event, Managing Director KPITB, Dr Ali Mahmud said that “we are grateful to the World Bank for supporting the programmes” and hoped that the partnership would help impart digital innovations to next generation.
A total of 19 fellows from across the province and nine women interns from different districts of KP graduated in these programs. They worked on several innovative digital solutions for 7 government partners across KP that simplify citizen access to government services and enable government departments to move toward digital transformation, he added.
Ibrahim Saleem, Manager Innovation Fellowship Program in his address highlighted the impact that has been made so far by the solutions developed and said that the program has facilitated 26 government departments through 37 digital solutions. He said that a total of 378 government employees have been given training in different modules.
