LAHORE:An anti-corruption court on Wednesday granted interim bail till October 9 to co-accused Amir Ahmad Khan, former director general Lahore Development Authority, in a case of irregularities in the Lahore Master Plan.
The court also sought a reply from Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) Punjab on the bail petition by the next date of hearing.
Anti-Corruption Court Judge Ali Raza Awan heard the pre-arrest bail petition of co-accused Amir Ahmad Khan, who also appeared during the proceedings. The petitioner’s counsel had pleaded with the court to grant the benefit of bail to his client as he wanted to join the investigations to prove his innocence.
The ACE Punjab had registered a case against former chief minister Punjab Chaudhry Parvez Elahi, his son Moonis Elahi, Amir Ahmad Khan and others over irregularities in the Lahore Master Plan.
