Lahore: Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESSO) has started upgradation of conductors to ensure uninterrupted power supply to customers of all categories.
According to the LESCO spokesperson here Monday, the process of upgrading the conductors has been started to meet the increasing load on the electricity transmission system, which aims to ensure uninterrupted supply of electricity.
It is not possible to lay new supply lines in the densely populated areas of the cities due to which it has been decided to upgrade the existing conductors through HTLS (High Temperature Low Sag Conductors) increasing the capacity of conductors from 700 to 1500 through HTLS. He added that the HTLS upgrade is in progress.
