LHC adjourns hearing of Lal Haveli’s de-sealing case till Oct 11

RAWALPINDI: The Lahore High Court bench here on Monday adjourned the hearing of Lal Haveli’s de-sealing case till October 11.

According to details, as hearing started Sardar Abdul Razzaq,the petitioner’s lawyer argued before the Court that the Lal Haveli was sealed by the Evacuee Trust Property Board(ETPB) without notice.

On which the Additional Attorney General told the Court that Lal Haveli properties were sealed on orders of Chairman ETPB and will file a detail reply on the next hearing.

LHC Justice Mirza Waqas Rauf after hearing the arguments from both sides adjourned the hearing till October 11 and directed the Additional Attorney General to submit the reply on next hearing.

Earlier,Sheikh Siddique, the elder brother of the former interior minister Sheikh Rasheed had challenged the sealing of Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rashid Ahmed’s Lal Haveli, by the ETPB on September 21.
