WAH CANTT:A local court in Taxila on Thursday sentenced a convict to life for murdering his wife over domestic feud in the limits of Taxila Police station in year 2020.
According to the FIR registered under section 302 and 34 of Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) at Taxila Police station, the accused Waqas Ahmed has shot dead his wife Medhia Bibi over domestic issue.
Later Police arrested the accused and recovered the weapon utilized in the murder case.
The prosecution presented compelling evidence against Waqas, establishing his culpability in the cold-blooded murder. Consequently, the convict was sentenced to life in prison and ordered to pay Five Lakh Rupees in damages to the deceased’s legal heirs.
