Tank: Additional Assistant Commissioner Malik Sajid Ali Khan has paid a surprise visit to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital to review medical facilities for citizens.
According to administration, he conducted a detailed inspection of medical facilities, cleanliness arrangements, and staff attendance.
During the visit, the AAC inspected the emergency department, various wards, and the radiology section, and also checked the attendance of staff on duty.
He visited patients, inquired about the medical facilities being provided, and listened to their concerns.
He issued strict instructions to the relevant staff regarding the safe disposal of used syringes and other medical waste in the hospital laboratory in accordance with standard safety protocols.
He also directed the hospital administration to ensure the timely provision of quality medical services to patients.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that providing quality healthcare facilities to the people was a top priority of the provincial government, and any negligence in this regard would not be tolerated.
