Abbottabad:Former federal minister and PML-N provincial general secretary Murtaza Javed Abbasi has alleged that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government was planning to create unrest under the cover of a long march.

Speaking to the media, he alleged that plans were being made to create disorder near military and police installations during the proposed long march. He warned the PTI provincial government and organizers that any attempt to carry out violence similar to the May 9 incidents would be dealt with firmly.

The PML-N leader said there was a clear distinction between political struggle and armed rebellion, adding that any armed rebellion under the guise of political activity would be regarded as an attack on the integrity of the state.

He said the state would use all available resources to protect the country’s security and integrity.
