ISLAMABAD:The National Productivity Organization (NPO) will organize a webinar on ‘Promoting Gender Equality at Workplace’ on October 07 (Friday).
The purpose of the webinar is to stress the importance of equal opportunities and outcomes for women and men, not necessarily outcomes that are exactly the same for all, said an NPO document.
The webinar would provide information about gender equality at workplace, benefits of gender equality, five ways to promote gender equality at workplace, five ways to build gender equality and sustainability, and support women’s leadership.
It is to highlight the concepts that all human beings are free to develop their personal abilities and make choices without limitations set by strict gender roles, and that the different behaviors, aspirations and needs of women and men are considered, valued and favoured equally.
The programme has been designed for senior management, middle management, team leaders and supervisors.
