On this day, I pay tribute to Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and his companions. The great homeland created through the efforts of the Founder of Pakistan has given us identity, a home, and civil rights, Senator Sherry Rehman said.
Pakistan is our identity, our freedom, and the homeland of hope for our future generations. Today gives us an opportunity to remember the sacrifices and struggles of our elders, Senator Sherry Rehman said.
Pakistan gave a befitting response to the aggression carried out by India in May 2025. During the Battle of Truth, our armed forces and the entire nation demonstrated unprecedented unity and resolve, Senator Sherry Rehman said.
Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, President Asif Ali Zardari, and Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari have also conveyed the message that we must continue to uphold the banner of national unity, Senator Sherry Rehman said.
On this day, we pay tribute to our armed forces, who have always made sacrifices for the defence and security of the country, Senator Sherry Rehman said.
We pay homage to all the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the sake of the homeland. Their sacrifices remain a guiding light for us, Senator Sherry Rehman said.
Let us renew, on Independence Day, our commitment to the dream of a great Pakistan and strengthen our resolve to build a strong, prosperous, sovereign, and democratic Pakistan, Senator Sherry Rehman said.
It is our collective responsibility to make Pakistan a land of justice, equality, democracy, and peace, Senator Sherry Rehman said.
I pray that Allah Almighty protects Pakistan from the evil designs of its enemies and grants our homeland lasting peace, prosperity, and success, Senator Sherry Rehman said.
