FAISALABAD: On the instructions of Director General (DG) Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) Abdul Qadir Shah, laying down turfing work has been started on all green-belts of the city.
All town in-charges have been assigned the targets while a monitoring unit under the supervision of Director Horticulture has also been set up.
According to the PHA sources here on Wednesday, the turfing work in green-belts, medians, triangles, roundabouts and all other green areas would be completed soon. It will beautify the city. He said that in the second phase, turfing work would be completed in parks.
