PIFD hosts seminar on prime minister’s exclusive fuel relief scheme

Lahore:The Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design (PIFD) on Thursday hosted a seminar on the Prime Minister’s Exclusive Relief Scheme, with a particular focus on the fuel relief initiative introduced to support eligible citizens amid the ongoing global crisis and rising fuel-related challenges.



The seminar was graced by Ms Rabia Naseem Farooqi, Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, as the distinguished guest.



During the session, she briefed participants on the objectives of the relief scheme, its eligibility criteria, and the support being extended to eligible citizens under the fuel relief initiative.



The session provided participants with an opportunity to gain a better understanding of the scheme and its intended benefits, particularly in the context of economic challenges and rising fuel costs faced by citizens.



Prof Hina Tayyaba Khalil, Vice Chancellor, PIFD; Dr. Muhammad Afzal, Registrar, PIFD; and Mr Fahim ur Rehman, Controller of Examinations, PIFD, were also in attendance.



The seminar reflected PIFD’s commitment to facilitating awareness and engagement on initiatives of public interest and ensuring that its academic and administrative community remains informed about relevant government support programmes.
