Hyderabad: A suspected street criminal was arrested in injured condition after an encounter with the B-Section police near Bismillah City Extension housing scheme in Latifabad.
The SHO B-section police station Nisar Ahmed Shah informed here on Friday that an alleged exchange of fire occurred between the cops of B-Section police with the arrested suspect Qamar Ali Rind, who sustained a gunshot to his leg.
The suspect was later shifted to Liaquat University Hospital. The Hyderabad police also rounded up 2 more alleged street criminals near Peon Colony on Wadhu Wah road.
The police spokesman told that the suspects Daud Shaikh and Mohsin Kandhro were apprehended by policemen of Rapid Response Force (RRF).
According to him, the RRF was conducting snap checking on Wadhu Wah road and the arrested suspects escaped from that checkpoint.
He added that the suspects were chased before being caught near Peon Colony.He claimed that the police recovered a CG 125 motorbike and 9 mobile phones from their possession.
