Hyderabad: Qazi Ahmed Police arrested two suspects involved in a house theft case and recovered stolen property worth approximately Rs. 300,000.
The successful operation was conducted under the instructions of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Shaheed Benazirabad, Sameer Noor Channa.
Acting on the directives of SSP, police operations against criminal elements are ongoing across the district. Station House Officer (SHO) Qazi Ahmed, Bashir Ahmed Chandio, along with his team, took prompt action on the complaint of one Nadeem Arain, and apprehended two nominated suspects involved in case.
According to police spokesperson, on August 22, 2026, unidentified thieves broke into the residence of Nadeem Arain located at Qazi Ahmed Morr by breaking the locks and stole two inverters, one LED TV, one charger, and a 250-watt battery.
Following the incident, FIR No. 346/2026 was registered at Qazi Ahmed Police Station under sections 380/457/2 PPC.
Later during a series of raids at different locations, police arrested nominated suspects, Manzoor Khoso and Ghafoor Jatoi. The stolen items were also recovered from their possession during investigation. The recovered property has been handed over to its rightful owner, Nadeem Arain. Upon receiving his belongings, the complainant expressed gratitude to the SHO by presenting him with a garland of currency notes.
Speaking to media, SHO Bashir Ahmed Chandio said that under the leadership of SSP Sameer Noor Channa, maintaining law and order in Qazi Ahmed and surrounding areas remains their top priority, and no criminal would be allowed to escape the grip of the law.
