ATTOCK: Attock Police arrested an accused for calling helpline 15 in limits of Rango police station for sharing wrong information that four armed men robbed him of a vehicle and Rs 5 lakh in cash and then managed to escape.
On the information, ASI of Rango police station Amjad Ali Khan reached the spot along with his team and started the investigation.
According to initial report, it was found that an attempt of a wrong call was made by the accused Aziz Khan to obtain his objectives adding that it also came to light that the accused had lent money to Mr. Rehmat to embezzle it.
Police have registered a case against the accused.
The spokesman of Attock Police Shahroz Khanzada appealed to the public that they should avoid giving false information to helpline 15 adding that it not only wastes the time and money of the police but at the same time, someone else may need help, which may cause disruption.
