Police formulates comprehensive security plan on occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi


Hyderabad: A comprehensive and effective security plan has been formulated under the leadership of SSP Hyderabad Shahzeb Chachar for religious gatherings, meetings, processions, rallies and other events in Hyderabad district on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi .



Since 1st Rabi-ul-Awwal, rallies, religious gatherings and gatherings of remembrance and naat



have been taken out across the district with devotion and respect, for which the Hyderabad Police has made ample security arrangements.



On the occasion of 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal, 42 meetings, processions and gatherings of remembrance and naat will be held across the district, while lighting of lamps will also be done at various places.



Special arrangements have been made for lighting of lamps within the limits of Pinyari, Phuleli, Sakhi Pir, City, A Section and Fort police stations.



Zikr and Naat gatherings, 12 small and large rallies will be held at 25 places across the district, while Ziyarat and Tabarrukat and models will also be exhibited at some places.



Special Zikr and Naat gatherings at 5 major places including Bagh-e-Mustafa Ground, Allama Iqbal Ground,Pakka Qila Ground Hussaini Chowk Preet Abad,Town Hall Tando Jam. while rallies would also be taken out by different religious parties



On the occasion of 12 Rabi-ul-Awwal, flag hoisting and sweets will be distributed at various places across the district, after which rallies starting from different areas will reach Market Tower Chowk and enter Station Road via Tilak Incline, where the main address and prayer will be organized.



Special arrangements for lighting lamps will also be made as per tradition in Latifabad, Preetabad and other areas.



More than 1,800 police officers and personnel will be deployed for the security of the main congregations, processions and rallies, while additional police personnel will also be deployed at important places, squares and sensitive places of the city.



Police reserves will also be deployed at 4 important places including St. Mary Chowk, American Center, Choti Ghati Chowk and Haider Chowk.



Continuous surveillance through modern cameras including Safe City



All important programs of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH), procession routes, central locations and sensitive points will be continuously monitored through the Safe City project and other installed modern CCTV cameras.



The monitoring will be carried out from the cameras will be directly monitored by senior police officers themselves, while keeping a close eye on the situation of central locations and important routes from time to time and ensuring immediate police response in any emergency situation.



All SDPOs and SHOs will continue to conduct search operations at hotels, guest houses, railway stations, bus stands, entry and exit routes of the city and sensitive and suspicious places from time to time until further orders.



A close watch will be kept on the movement of foreigners and suspicious persons, while immediate legal action will be taken against any kind of provocative speech, hateful content or attempt to disrupt law and order within their respective limits without discrimination.
