MIRPURKHAS: The traffic police here on Monday conducted an operation against the passenger vehicles polluting the environment under Vehicle Emission Control Program.
According to Traffic police, during the operation, vehicles emitting more than the prescribed limit of gas were fined.
On the occasion In-charge of Sindh Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) Mirpurkhas region, Ali Muhammad Rand said that the emission of toxic gas was causing brain hemorrhage, lung cancer, asthma etc.
