Senior leader of Pakistan Peoples Party Syed Khursheed Shah on Friday demanded the election commission of Pakistan (ECP), to announce exact schedule for next elections.
The PPP are requesting all national institutions to play role for holding general elections without delay, he said while talking to a private television channel.
There is a need to strengthen democracy, political and economic system of this country, he said. Election is the only solution to achieve all objectives in a proper manner, he added. In reply to a question about issues being faced by the nation, he said parliamentary members will make legislation and resolve all problems of the nation.
The PPP will continue work for welfare of the people, democracy and economy of Pakistan, he said.
