SARGODHA:Preparations to celebrate Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) were in full swing in Sargodha division that would be observed on Sunday with religious reverence and devotion.
People decorated their houses,buildings,shops,vehicles with colourful lights and buntings to mark the day.They would participate in Milad functions, Seerat conferences, Naat competitions, seminars, workshops, rallies and declamation contests.
Main processions would be taken out from Hamid Shah mosque and Milad Chowk,Chak 47 pull and various other localities on 12th Rabi-ul-Awal.
Police had finalized the security plan in the division under which 3,643 policemen and 1,635 volunteers would be deployed for the security of 253 milad processions and 478 milad ceremonies.
All processions and mahafils would be monitored through CCTV cameras amid tight security.
