RAWALPINDI:Commissioner Rawalpindi Division Noorul Amin Mengal said that plans were afoot to upgrade various departments of the Holy Family Hospital (HFH), which would provide better medical facilities to the people.
During a visit to HFH to inspect the health facilities provided to the people, the Commissioner said that providing the best kind of healthcare facilities to the people was the government’s priority and all resources were being utilized for it.
Mengal directed the Hospital’s administration to execute their duties professionally.
He reviewed the medical facilities provided to the patients in the Emergency Ward, interacted with them and their families and inquired about the provision of medical facilities to which the patients and their families expressed satisfaction.
He also directed the Hospital’s administration to give special attention to the cleanliness of wards, doctor’s rooms and OPD and encourage the patients to opt for cleanliness through awareness posters.
On this occasion, the Commissioner said, by keeping the environment clean, we can avoid many diseases at first hand. He directed the officials to ensure the availability of the required medicines and said that all the necessary machinery should be kept functional in the Hospital.
