Islamabad: Pakistan Science Foundation (PSF) and Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (PAEC) on Friday explored new avenues for promoting science, research and technological collaboration for national development.
A delegation led by Chairman PSF Prof. Dr. Mohammad Akmal, accompanied by Member Science Dr. Mirza Habib Ali and Senior Scientific Officer Ms. Sumera Sami, visited PAEC and held a meeting with its chairman.
During the meeting, Member Science PSF Dr. Mirza Habib Ali briefed the PAEC Chairman on research projects previously funded by the PSF in PAEC organizations.
The PSF leadership also highlighted the recently launched Commissioned Research Projects initiative and discussed possibilities for initiating new research projects in collaboration with PAEC organizations.
The Chairman PAEC appreciated the initiatives of the Pakistan Science Foundation and expressed willingness to explore new ideas and avenues for collaboration between the two organizations.
Both sides expressed their commitment to further strengthening cooperation in scientific research and technology and fostering joint initiatives aimed at contributing to national development.
