ISLAMABAD:Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI)’s founder and his wife Bushra Bibi has challenged their arrests in Toshakhana case before Islamabad High Court (IHC).
The petitions have been moved through the lawyers including Barrister Salman Safdar and Khalid Yousaf. Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB), DG NAB and others have been named as respondents in the case.
The petitioners prayed the court to declare their arrest illegal and make their arrest in any other cases subject to the approval of IHC.
The petition said that the accused have joined the investigation and there was no need of their arrest. It said that the accused have already been acquitted in iddat case.
It said that the arrest was the violation of the directives of the court.
