Faisalabad:City Police Officer (CPO) Kamran Adil said that public complaints regarding crimes and police department would be redressed on urgent basis.
Addressing an open court at Imam Bargah Azza Khana Shabbir on Friday, he said that it was the first and foremost duty of the police to provide full safety and security to the lives and properties of the masses. In this connection, a comprehensive strategy had been evolved to arrest crimes at maximum extent.
He said that all police officers were duty bound to listen to public complaints relating to crimes and redress them without any delay.
He said that justice would be provided to the masses at their door steps and strict action would be taken against those police officers who failed to resolve public complaints on urgent basis.
The CPO also received a number of complaints in the open court and issued on-spot orders for redressing the same on urgent basis.
SSP Lyallpur Division, DSP Kotwali and others were also present in the open court.
