Lahore:The Punjab government has decided to introduce a new internship policy the next week.
A consultation meeting was held on Thursday, chaired by Health Ministers Khawaja Salman Rafique and Khawaja Imran Nazir, to discuss the details of this initiative.
Khawaja Salman emphasised that the new internship policy would be a milestone for the province, aiming to provide valuable opportunities for young professionals while Khawaja Imran Nazir highlighted that such projects are crucial for improving the health system in Punjab.
The health secretary stated that under the new policy, internship opportunities will be provided strictly on a merit basis, ensuring that all applicants have an equal chance to benefit from this initiative.
