Karachi: Federal Minister for Railways Muhammad Hanif Abbasi on Friday directed to prepare a feasibility study for establishing a mechanized terminal at Jumma Goth Karachi.
The minister issued these directives during a meeting with Freight Business Partners in Karachi.
He said that the meeting with business partners will prove to be an important step for expanding business activities.
Hanif Abbasi said that the decision not to increase freight rates was made by the Prime Minister of Pakistan; we will provide every possible facility to business community.
He said that freight transportation will be prioritized on a preferential basis.
We will fulfill every feasible demand of the business community, the minister said.
Hanif Abbasi said that sufficient stock will be available for freight business by December 31.
