Islamabad: Chairman Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan on Wednesday met Palestinian Ambassador to Pakistan, Dr. Zuhair Mohammad Hamadallah Zaid at the Prime Minister’s Office to discuss strengthening Pakistan-Palestine ties, with a focus on youth development, education and support for Palestinian students, reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to helping Palestinian youth through educational and development opportunities.
During the meeting, Rana Mashhood warmly welcomed the Palestinian ambassador and discussed matters of mutual interest with officials and representatives from both sides.
The Palestinian envoy appreciated the initiatives of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and expressed gratitude for Pakistan’s invitation to Palestinian youth to pursue medical education at Pakistani universities.
Dr. Zaid also thanked Pakistan for its continued support for the Palestinian people and expressed hope for greater cooperation, particularly in education and youth development.
Rana Mashhood reiterated Pakistan’s steadfast support for the Palestinian people and said the country would continue making every possible effort to assist Palestinians, particularly youth and children, in areas where support was needed.
He said Pakistan’s youth stood firmly with their Palestinian counterparts and would continue to demonstrate solidarity with the Palestinian people.
The chairman said Pakistan would also explore further opportunities to support Palestinian youth in education, skills development and other areas aimed at improving their well-being.
The meeting reaffirmed the commitment of both sides to strengthening people to people ties and Pakistan-Palestine cooperation, particularly through youth-focused and educational initiatives.
