Lahore: Recognizing outstanding performance and encouraging talented individuals are essential for promoting a culture of merit, hard work and achievement in society.
Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) President Faheem Ur Rehman Saigol expressed these views, while addressing the Best Performance Awards Ceremony organized by Idara Farogh-e-Taleem (IFT) as Chairman of the session. The ceremony that was also attended by LCCI Executive Committee Member Firdous Nisar, IFT Chairman Muhammad Tayyab Virk, Convener Standing Committee on Women Entrepreneurs Business Forum Sheikh Muhammad Fayyaz, Punjab University (PU) Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali, MPA Rukhsana Kausar, IISAT University Gujranwala VC Prof. Dr. Syeda Zareen Fatima Rizvi, Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) VC Prof. Dr. Uzma Qureshi, senior journalist Mujeeb-ur-Rehman Shami, Dr. Phool Shahzadi, Senior Scientist, PCSIR Laboratories, Mahnoor Naveed, Mian Hanif Tahir, Dr. Safia Anjum, and Dr. Muneeza Abbas.
Faheem-ur-Rehman Saigol appreciated the services of young people and individuals who demonstrate excellence in various fields, and motivated them to perform even better. He said that excellence in education, research, science, business and other fields is the foundation of national development. He said individuals who become role models for others through their hard work, abilities and determination play an important role in building a positive and progressive society.
He also appreciated the IFT for organizing the awards ceremony to recognize outstanding performers and said such events not only acknowledge the contributions of successful individuals but also inspire others to move forward and utilize their potential.
Speaking at the ceremony, IFT Chairman Muhammad Tayyab Virk said that the organization aims to encourage individuals with outstanding abilities in the educational and professional fields and highlight their achievements.
He said recognition of excellence creates a spirit of advancement among the younger generation and motivates them to work harder and contribute to national development.
