Rescue 1122, ADC discuss water refilling points for fire emergencies

Dera ismail khan: District Emergency Officer Rescue 1122 Dera Ismail Khan Muhammad Arif Khan met Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) to discuss arrangements for ensuring timely water supply to fire tenders during large-scale fire emergencies.

During the meeting, the establishment of water refilling points at crowded and strategically important locations was discussed in detail. The proposed facility would enable fire tenders to replenish water quickly during major fire incidents, helping ensure an uninterrupted emergency response and minimize delays in rescue and firefighting operations.

Later, the District Emergency Officer, along with the Assistant Commissioner (Revenue) and Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) Public Health, inspected the proposed water refilling point at the site.

The officials reviewed arrangements required for establishing the facility, including availability of water and its effective utilization during fire emergencies.

The initiative aims to strengthen the emergency response capacity of Rescue 1122 and ensure timely availability of water for firefighting operations, particularly during major fire incidents, thereby helping minimize loss of life and property.

The Rescue 1122 authorities said that such measures were aimed at further improving preparedness and ensuring an effective and timely response to emergencies in the district.
