Dera ismail khan: Rescue 1122 Dera Ismail Khan responded to 819 emergencies during September 2026, providing timely and effective services to people in distress, according to its monthly performance report released on Friday.
According to the report, the emergency response included 614 medical emergencies, 151 road traffic accidents, 16 fire incidents, 20 recovery operations, 16 incidents involving gunshot wounds or violence, one bomb blast and one drowning incident.
Rescue teams promptly reached the affected locations, provided first aid and emergency medical assistance to victims and shifted patients and injured persons to nearby healthcare facilities as required.
In addition to emergency response operations, the Rescue 1122 provided 98 referral services during the month, transferring 70 patients within the district and 28 to hospitals outside the district for further medical treatment.
The district emergency service reiterated its commitment to ensuring timely and efficient emergency response and providing uninterrupted rescue services to the public in all situations.
