PESHAWAR:The Rescue stations at tourist areas established by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Integrated Tourism Development Project (KITE) in Galiyat are ready to facilitate tourists in upcoming winter season for a safe and hustle-free tourism in the snow covered region.
The World Bank has assisted KP government to establish first ever especially designed Rescue1122 stations at tourist areas of Galiyat,Thandiani, Kumrat, Gabin Jabba and Kalash are prepared to help and facilitate the tourists and locals during winter season.
The KITE project as part of its objective of building tourism assets provided purposefully built ambulances and rescue machinery and equipments to Rescue1122, Galiyat Development Authority, Kaghan Development Authority, Upper Swat Development Authority for rescue and snow clearance operations.
The KITE project supported first ever tourist facilitation helpline 1422 available for guidance of tourists visiting these areas during winter season.
