SIALKOT:The price magistrates imposed a fine of Rs 2,387,000 on profiteers during the last month.
Six cases were registered while three warehouses and shops were sealed.
The price control magistrates in four tehsils conducted 11,992 inspections to review prices.
Meanwhile, 741 shopkeepers were found guilty and fined while price magistrates checked
879 places to prevent hoarding. Two food centers were checked on complaints of adulteration.
