SARGODHA: District Zakat and Ushar Committee Sargodha released Rs 81.47 million for deserving people under guzara allowance general,while Rs 5.64 million released for visually impaired people during the financial year 2021-22.
This was stated by District Zakat Officer Sharjeel Badar while talking to reporter here on Thursday.
He said that an amount of Rs 9000 was given to each deserving person and Rs.12000 was given to the blind persons.
He said that the registered beneficiaries would received SMS from mobile number 3737, after which the deserving people received their amount through biometric authentication from the nearest Telenor franchise without deduction during the month of Ramazan this year.
