Sukkur: Shah Abdul Latif University (SALU) on Friday held vibrant orientation sessions for newly admitted students at the Benazir Chair and Faculty of Management Sciences. The events, organized by the Faculty of Arts and Languages and Faculty of Management Sciences, marked the beginning of the students’ academic journey.
Vice Chancellor (VC) Prof. Dr. Yousuf Khushk addressed the students, congratulating them on securing admission and highlighting the university’s history, academic facilities, and extracurricular activities. He encouraged students to engage with student societies, seek scholarships, and focus on skill development.
The university’s role extends beyond curriculum delivery to include extracurricular development, Dr. Khushk said and adding that You have four years to prepare yourselves for better opportunities and to contribute to society and the country.
Deans and department heads also addressed the students, assuring them of a supportive environment and outlining initiatives to nurture creativity and critical thinking.
The orientation sessions were attended by senior faculty members, officials, and students, marking a formal introduction to academic life at SALU.
