Dera ismail khan: District Emergency Officer (DEO) Rescue 1122, Muhammad Arif Khan, on Friday visited the Rescue 1122 store room in Dera Ismail Khan to review preparedness measures in view of the ongoing foggy weather conditions and the increased risk of road accidents.
During the visit, the DEO carried out a detailed inspection of rescue equipment, machinery, and other essential supplies. He reviewed the availability of items, examined inventory records, and assessed overall discipline and management within the store room.
Muhammad Arif Khan directed the staff to ensure timely maintenance of all rescue equipment, accurate record-keeping, and strict adherence to standard management procedures. He emphasized that these measures are vital to ensure a prompt and effective response in case of emergencies, particularly during periods of reduced visibility caused by fog.
The inspection forms part of Rescue 1122’s broader efforts to strengthen operational readiness and enhance public safety during the current fog season, which increase the risk of road accidents significantly.
