BEIJING:Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Deputy Secretary-General Sohail Khan and representatives of embassies of the SCO Family countries accredited in China visited the Henan Province of China.
Delegates from Russia, Tajikistan, Belarus, Mongolia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Nepal and Sri Lanka took part in a number of events planned as part of the visit.
Specifically, the Deputy Secretary-General addressed the opening ceremony for the Sixth Global Conference on Cross-Border E-Commerce.
Meetings were held with the heads of the Henan Province, the cities of Zhengzhou, Dongfeng, and Luoyang, as well as a number of industrial plants in Henan.
The participants reaffirmed their commitment to expand cooperation between the Henan Province and regions in the SCO countries within the framework of the existing SCO mechanisms.
