Karak:A devastating gas leak explosion in Alwargai area of Banda Daud Shah has claimed lives of seven members of a family after four more victims succumbed to their injuries in hospital, police said on Saturday.
The horrific incident initially occurred three days ago when a gas explosion tore through home, killing three people including a woman on the spot, while others were rushed to emergency care in critical condition.
Among deceased was the head of household, identified as Baghdad, along with his wife, daughters-in-law, and four young grandchildren.
The tragedy has left entire locality shrouded in grief as seven funeral processions were led from a residence.
Meanwhile, two remaining victims continue to fight for their lives in critical condition at a hospital in Peshawar.
