ATTOCK:Member of the National Assembly from the Muslim League-N, Sheikh Aftab Ahmed on Thursday stated that serving the people is their aim and they cannot give up on it under any circumstances.
PML-N MNA made these remarks while attending a dinner hosted by former councillor Ilyas Khan of Shah Dher in his honour.
During his speech, Sheikh Aftab Ahmed highlighted the great development projects like motorways, metro trains and metro buses across the country which were initiated during the Nawaz era. He emphasized that the service of the region and the people is their motto and they will continue to serve the public.
Sheikh Aftab acknowledged the trust and support the people of the entire constituency including Attock have always shown towards him. The MNA assured that they will continue to implement plans for the country’s development and the prosperity of the people.
He recognized the current inflation in the country and stated that steps are being taken to address it, adding that every organization has a
role to play in improving the country’s conditions.
At the event, former provincial assembly candidate Sheikh Sulaiman Sarwar, former chairman Yasir Zaman Khan and former vice-chairman of the municipality Hazro Nazakat Hussain also participated.
