Sukkur: The new office-bearers of the Shikarpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) have been elected unopposed for the 2026-2028 term, with Fayyaz Mahmood Sheikh elected as President, Sarfraz Khan Pathan as Senior Vice President and Deepak Kumar as Vice President.
The election process for the Shikarpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry has been completed, resulting in the unopposed election of the new office-bearers along with 30 members of the Executive Committee, said a press release on Thursday.
The election was conducted under the supervision of Election Commissioner Muhammad Afzal Sheikh, with the cooperation of Election Committee members Zafar Aziz Siddiqui and Saleem Haider Memon. The Election Commission subsequently issued the official notification confirming the results.
The results were formally announced by Returning Officer and Secretary General Noor Ahmed Peerani during the Chamber’s Annual General Meeting.
On the occasion, Sardar Maqbool Ahmed Sheikh, Patron-in-Chief of the Shikarpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry, congratulated the newly elected President, office-bearers and members of the Executive Committee. He expressed hope that the new leadership would play an effective role in promoting the interests of the Chamber and improving the business environment for the local trading community.
Former office-bearers, including former President Rewa Chand Rajpal, former Senior Vice President Nusrat Shehzad Mughal and former Vice President Imran Naper, also congratulated the newly elected body and extended their best wishes for its successful tenure.
Speaking on the occasion, newly elected President Fayyaz Mahmood Sheikh said the new body would take comprehensive measures for the development of the Chamber, the welfare of the business community and the prompt resolution of issues faced by traders and industrialists.
The newly elected leadership also expressed its commitment to working collectively for the promotion of trade, industry and the broader economic interests of Shikarpur.
