KARACHI:Deputy Mayor Karachi Salman Abdullah Murad has said that the shops built on the drains in Malir should be demolished as soon as possible.
He was presiding over a meeting of the Estate Department of KMC in his office here on Tuesday.
He directed the Estate Department of KMC to immediately issue a challan to the tenants for the payment of arrears.
He also directed for cleaning in the KMC markets and for making better arrangements for water and electricity in the markets.
Salman Abdullah Murad said that all these works should be completed on time. Our first priority is to improve the KMC markets and eliminate encroachments for which measures have been taken.
On this occasion, Senior Director Estate, Director Terminal and other officers were also present.
