Sindh Governor meets Bohra Community delegation


Karachi: The Governor Sindh, Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi here on Monday met a high-level delegation of the Bohra community, led by Shahzada Qusai Vajihuddin, at Governor House.



The delegation included Alqamar Bhai Sahib, Adam Bhai Sahib and other distinguished members.



The Governor of Sindh Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi appreciated the services rendered by the Bohra community in healthcare, education, community welfare and social development.



He said that the community has provided valuable services not only for its own members but also for the welfare of other segments of society.



He said that the establishment of modern cancer and cardiac treatment facilities equipped with advanced technology at Saifee Hospital was a highly commendable initiative.



The services of the Bohra community in healthcare, education and other sectors were a positive example for society.



The Governor of Sindh said, ‘Consider Pakistan your own home. The people of Pakistan have a deep and heartfelt connection with you.’ He added that Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah also had close relations with the elders of the Bohra community.



Shahzada Qusai Vajihuddin conveyed the greetings of Dr. Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin to Governor Sindh and said, ‘We have a deep and heartfelt connection with Pakistan.’ He said that his father, Dr. Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin, and Dr. Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin have had longstanding and strong relations with Pakistan.



He said that through Shahzada Qusai Vajihuddin, he would once again make a special request to Dr. Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin to visit Pakistan and be their guest. He prayed that the strong bond of love, brotherhood and mutual relations between Pakistan and the Bohra community would always remain intact.



The Governor Sindh further said that a Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH) Library would soon be established at Governor House, where books and research material on Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH), Islamic history and religious and academic subjects would be available.



The delegation thanked Governor Sindh for the warm reception and expressed its deep association with Pakistan, reaffirming its commitment to promoting mutual love, respect and cooperation.
