HYDERABAD:The Provincial Secretary Women Development Sindh Rasheed Ahmed Zardari Thursday said that societal progress is dependent on the progress of women therefore the department was making significant efforts to empower the women of Sindh.
He expressed these views during an unannounced visit to the Women Complaint Cell of the Women Development Department.
He said that the department was taking measures to support women troubled by violence, social and mental issues.
During the visit, Syeda Qurat-ul-Ain Shah, the in charge of the Women Complaint Cell, gave a detailed briefing about the office.
Praising Shah’s efforts, Zardari assured that he would address office-related issues and staff shortages to enhance the department’s effectiveness.
