KARACHI: Sri Lanka U-19 won over Pakistan U-19 by 3 wickets in the fourth ODI to level the series 2-2.
The fifth and final ODI will be played on Tuesday.
Sri Lanka Under-19 won the first ODI by 58 runs. In the second ODI, Pakistan U-19 won by 59 runs, while the third ODI was also won by Pakistan U-19 by 6 wickets.
In the fourth match played at National Bank Stadium Karachi on Sunday, Sri Lanka U-19 won the toss and allowed Pakistan to bat first. Pakistan team was bowled out for 186 runs in 43.1 overs. Sri Lanka completed the required score in 40.4 overs for the loss of 7 wickets.
Shahzeb Khan played an excellent innings of 80 runs off 111 balls, which included 4 fours and 3 sixes. Captain Saad Baig got out after scoring 45 runs with the help of 3 fours.
Host team batsman Riyazullah got injured while taking runs. He will not be able to play the last ODI due to knee pain.
Sri Lanka’s leg-spinner Malsha Tharupathi took 4 wickets for just 17 runs. Ravi Shan Perera dismissed two players.
Dinora Kalu Pahana
scored 61 runs with the help of five fours and one six and Rusanda Gamage scored 46 runs with the help of two fours.
Tharupathi played responsibly after bowling well and scored 20 runs not out with the help of three fours to help the team win the match.
Aftab Ahmed took 3 wickets for 23 runs.
