Lahore: Children suffering from thalassemia, haemophilia and other blood disorders at Sundas Foundation celebrated the birthday of Punjab Information and Culture Minister Azma Zahid Bukhari on Tuesday by cutting a cake and offering prayers for her health, happiness and success.
According to foundation’s spokesperson, the celebration was attended by children undergoing treatment at the foundation and its staff, who extended warm birthday greetings to the provincial minister.
The children prayed for her long life, good health, prosperity and continued success, expressing the hope that she would continue serving the people of Punjab with the same commitment and dedication.
Sundas Foundation Founder and President Muhammad Yasin Khan (Sitara-e-Imtiaz) also felicitated Azma Zahid Bukhari on her birthday and conveyed his best wishes.
The children said they always prayed for the well-being of individuals who devoted themselves to humanitarian causes and public service, expressing their appreciation for those working for the welfare of society.
