DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Dera police during a successful operation against criminal elements arrested three drug peddlers and recovered hashish from their possession in the limits of Cantt and Dera Town police stations.
According to the police spokesman, District Police Officer Dera Abdul Rauf Babar Qaisrani directed all police stations to intestify crackdown against the drug dealers.
Following the directives, Police Station Cantt under the leadership of SDPO City Circle Muhammad Adnan. along with SHO Gul Sher Khan, while taking action against drug dealers, seized 210 grams of hashish from the possession of Qamar Zaman son of Atta Muhammad resident of Bakhtawarabad and arrested the accused as per the rules.
While Gauhar Khalid son of Muhammad Khalid was arrested and 290 grams of hashish recovered from his possession.
Meanwhile, Dera Town police station led by SDPO Saddar Circle Muhammad Saleem Baloch along with SHO Faheem Abbas Khan and his team arrested accused Ehsan Ullah son of Niaz Muhammad and recovered 1460 gram hashish from his possession.
The police registered separate cases against the arrested drug peddlers and started further investigations.
