Sialkot: A seven-member trade delegation from Sialkot has departed for Malaysia to explore new international markets for the city’s export products and strengthen trade ties with the foreign business community. Talking to reporter, Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) Departmental Committee on Fair and Exhibition, Chairman Qaiser Baig said that the Malaysia visit was the Chamber’s third overseas trade delegation during August. Earlier, SCCI delegations visited South Africa and South Korea. He said the delegation would hold meetings with business leaders and importers during the visit.

Qaiser Baig said that regularly sending trade delegations abroad was aimed at exploring new global markets for Sialkot’s products, strengthening ties with international businesses, and boosting Pakistani exports. He said the Malaysia visit was part of the Chamber’s ongoing efforts to expand

international business connections. During the visit, the delegation would hold meetings with Malaysian business leaders and institutions to explore potential areas of cooperation and identify new business opportunities for Sialkot’s industries. The delegation was expected to focus on promoting Sialkot’s export-oriented products, developing business-to-business contacts and exploring avenues for increased trade between Pakistan and Malaysia.
