Sargodha: Two people were killed and six others injured in a firing incident following a clash between two groups in Mohalla Bhatian,Khushab on Monday.
According to police,a minor dispute between the Bhatti and Syed groups escalated into a violent clash,resulting in the deaths of Muhammad Shehbaz and Naeem Shah,r/o Rajar area.
The injured were identified as Nouman,Zaman,Rehman,Abdul Rehman,Razia Bibi and Sajawal Baloch,sustained bullet injuries in the incident.
On receiving information, Rescue 1122 teams and police reached the scene,shifted the bodies and injured to a nearby hospital for medical treatment and completion of legal formalities.
Police have initiated an investigation into the incident, while further details were awaited.
