Gujrat: Students of the Institute of Hotel and Restaurant Management (IHRM), University of Gujrat (UoG), visited a Seerat book exhibition organized by the Quaid-e-Azam Library.
According to a university source, IHRM Director Ayaz Noorani led the delegation along with faculty members. Chief Librarian Sheikh Abdul Rasheed and library staff welcomed the students.
The students took keen interest in the books displayed at the exhibition and appreciated the works highlighting the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
Sheikh Abdul Rasheed briefed the students about the contents of the books and said the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) provided guidance for all spheres of life. He said the Seerat offered a practical model of a virtuous life.
The exhibition features books on Seerat-un-Nabi by Eastern and Western authors, besides MPhil and PhD research theses by UoG scholars.
The exhibition will continue till September 30.
